~tre0220 originally wanted for me to do the guy in my Make Me Bad picture. But since Lote had already been called, I suggested my favorite guy in the collection, Amaia. Done in the same way as that picture was. Grabbing an awesomely done stock photo [link] (LinzStock has GREAT stuff btw, totally check her out) and painting away! On to the meme info!

Where his name is from:

No one knows his real name. At least not one left alive and/or smart enough to make the connection. The name "Amaia" which everyone seems to be calling him lately is a term of affection meaning "beautiful husband" given to him by his lover. But he doesn't give it as his name. He usually lets people make them up.

Random facts about his creation:
a) Originally a ten minute NPC, from an ancient campaign, who just filled out a bit of backstory for a character I was playing. Years later, I decided to make a campaign using that characters sister, so him and his story got hauled up again. Then wonder of wonders! He took over everything O_o
b) He was originally a straight fighter. Then I figured, eh - fuck it, I want to play a ghostwalker and no one knows him anymore anyway, nah! Guess what? Ghostwalkers are fun.
c) His eyes were aqua green way back when, as opposed to his family's emerald green, then I went all out and gave him his mothers pure blue eyes.
d) He has a metaphorical WWJD bracelet - What would Jason Do. A lot of his mannerism when I'm not sure how he should act come from another Capricorn that I'm good friends with.
e) Yes he is a Capricorn! (For all you star sign shippers) On the cusp of Sagittarius. Why Capricorn? Cause I wish I could be as serious, reliable and smart as them T_T Also - because that puts his birthday on the festival of Shevarash!

Backstory:

In a nutshell, because it's long, complexed and strange. Half high elf, half moon elf of unknown origin and age. He is rumored to have been heavily involved in the Drow Wars even though they happened many years ago. He has been since then wandering most of Haera in scattered times and places. He was sometimes seen in the company of a Frost elf but she has since vanished from his presence. It IS known that he now sits in the thrown of the high elven people and serves as the Bael'norn guardian to one Isilme Khelek.
