Do you guys remember this? I started it a long time ago and forgot about it T_T Poor Sol'leks, he's been sitting in my sketchbook for months waiting for my to do something with him. I would have loved to have given him more attention cause he's one of my favorite characters and I was so SO pleased ~Kadajo asked me to draw him. I'll speed paint him at work someday so he looks cooler that a year old sketch. So here is are her questions answered!

Where his name is from:
From Call of the Wild. There was a one-eyed husky named Sol-leks which meant "Angry One" I thought it was a cool name and so - Sol'leks!

Random facts about his creation:
a) He was my very first DnD character EVER. In Grade 10 of high school. I still love him.
b) I liked the one-eyed wolf thing and ran with it for his character to live up to his name. So I deemed that he lost his eye to a wolf to stay with the Call of the Wild theme.
c) Sol'leks was never made to be physically attractive. He's skinny and small featured. I wanted his attractiveness to be all about his brilliant personality. Just one of those people everyone adores but doesn't look like Sean Connery.
d) All his tattoo's are symbols of important planets and celestial events that are important in astrology.
e) I loved him so much as a character from my story River Jordan, when my lovely girl asked me to make a pirate crew to oppose hers, Sol'leks was the first character I grabbed to be on it. He had been a navigator before, he could do it again.

4. Favorite:
Colour: Blue - no exceptions
Book: Being mostly blind - he can't actually read to well unless it's braille. As a result - he doesn't read much, less you count spellbooks and song lyrics.
Song: He's such a music junkie it would be a crime to pick just one!
Band: Matthew Good Band
Movie: He's not much of a movie person either, giving he'd have a hard time seeing the screen.

5. Backstory:

Sol'leks was born in the same moon elven town his cousin, who everyone now calls 'Amaia', was. He was raised by his aunt, Amaia's mother, as her own because both his parents weren't exactly responsible and she trained him to be a talented star reader and diviner like herself. After the drow raids which left most of the moon elves scattered and divided from their families, he went to sea as a navigator. Later he'd be tapped by Malta Tiris as the incarnation of Anahel - the angel of Liberality.
