“The last angel to speak was Cassiel, a Seraphim of remarkable silence, who had simply chosen not to take turn at all but when everyone had a chance, they turned to her and waited. So finally, in a wise and ringing tone that left everyone rapt, she finally said, “I do not want a heaven, I have no need of it. I have seen everything. I have been since the beginning of time and I have watched. I have seen the birth of everything and I have watched time unfold and things evolve. I know the reward there is in patience, in silence, for I know the truth, that there is no good or evil. Instead it is just a cycle that exists in everything that we all must follow; birth, death and rebirth. I have seen, the Fallen are not really fallen at all, nor are we really ascended, we are all in our own turning circles, waiting for that moment we become something more, something full. We do not change in time, we only become – more like ourselves.”

“To her they gave the seventh heaven, if she had wanted it or not. The holiest of the sacred heavens, Araboth, home to the throne of God himself. The home of souls who have yet to be born, and the souls who have died, found peace, and are waiting to be born again. She was given this heaven to guard, this place of innocence and stillness, for she alone of all the angels, was the closest to God."

Finally... the very last virtue in =yami-caffeine and I's project. Yeah Yeah I know, she's been a longtime coming. Oh the feathers, dear god the feathers. Peacock feathers are really something.

So, this is Antha, the Quartermaster of the Enoch. She's a remarkable strong and resilient woman, extremely intelligent and very wise. Her biggest claim to fame is her remarkable sense of what is fair and what is not, even in he own life. She takes the worse of things stoically in the name of karma. she is often called upon to be a judge, which is a huge deal for a drow.

This makes Antha the virtue of patience. Being able to bear provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper or irritation. An ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay. This explains who she can handle Dae on a daily bases - the patience of a saint. -_-

Patience opposes the sin of wrath. And oppose she does. The keeper of wrath, Turytura seems to love to try to keep killing her but Antha's specialty is in the martial arts and turning yours opponents energy back on them. They have a long standing dislike. Well... Turytura hates her... Antha rolls her eyes and waits for the next attack.

i like the idea of the peacock feathers for the wing, and i geuss the whitefeathers are also peacock. i haven't scene so much patience in making it since i saw KorakiDraKos stippled her eagle. and by the way whats up with her right hand, did she lose those two fingers, or is it just an odd angle?
the cloth about her chest really draws my eyes...for some reason...very simple but very beautiful ^^; lovely work on the feathers, and as always I'm amazed by your watercoloring skills...the peacock feathers look exceptional and don't doubt they were crazy to try to paint o.O I like the white ones too ^^

ITS CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

Ok, I have to say THIS is my favorite. It was Lote for awhile but this is mad wicked sick. Saving the best for last maybe? For one the duel wings are a great idea and perfect touch as if she's balancing even that. Her position and the center symbol set a very soothing, relaxing feel to the piece which is excellent for patience, and of course it DOES have a very wintery feel to it. Is that a giant present I see in the background O_O :P

I want to congrats you BOTH on finishing up this project! I'm proud you guys both saw it through to the end and I have to say it was worth the wait ^_^
Hey thanks ^_^ Very much. I do enjoy watercolor.

Nope, just the foreshortening. Could probably use better knuckles, but I'm not about to slap on anymore paint. Watercolor is a bitch. /LAAAAzy
