A piece done for contest#5 at that was set up to show a drow in a fighting scene.

I've been meaning to do this for a long time because it is my favorite part of the War of the Spider Queen, when Pharaun is fighting with a bunch of uridezu "rat demon"'s on the Dark Lake as the part searching for Lolth is making their way to the Demonweb Pits in the book Annihilation. Why I love this one part I don't know, if I had the book I would quote it, but long story short, the uridezu piloting the ship of Choas betrayed our drow... uh... heros and Pharaun launched his side of the attack from underwater.

Maybe its just the fact that the whole battle is described from Aliisza's point of view... and I do remember it that the description for Pharaun rising from the water throwing off a demon as "The most beautiful sight Aliisza had ever seen." I had to undulge myself... :drool:

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this... mind you I wanted to rip my hair out trying to figure out how to do a lot of the background and water effects... that and the continual crashing of the computer. Oh well! :heart:

any time! A lot of then are really simple and just need a bit of playing with lens flares and gaussine blurs, I'll show in class sometime
