Michael of Machanon

Just watched the finale of Supernatural season 5. Michael is damn cool so I figure, why not? Have a Michael for today’s angel. So here’s Michael as he appears in the Haera/Coia.

A bit of Lore on the inspiring biblical angel for you: Michael, sometimes Saint Michael, is thought to be the Leader of Heaven’s armies and thought to have lead the first charge against the angels rebelling with the devil. His name means “One who is like God,” but it can also translate as a phrase “Who is like God?” in which case his name is a rhetorical statement and becomes a challenge against those not humble before God. The book of Enoch describes him as patient, merciful, carrying a sword of fire and bringing light wherever he steps.
