Lote Narwa

So the Misery half of :devmiseryandazelyn: requested in my meme that I draw... Lote! More commonly known on DA as the elf in my picture Make Me Bad. -> [link]

Capitol BadAss from the Enoch. Funny how for being one of the virtues a lot of the crew is afraid of him. O_o Oh yeah and I drew him with his sword Ristcoia because it's always with him and probably his only one true love.

Where his name is from:

Lote itself means "Flower" in elvish, but his full name Lote Narwa means "Fire red Flower" and suddenly it takes on a new, brutal meaning. In the world he resides in, the symbol of the most violent fire goddess you can imagine is a Fire red flower. Not such a pansy name now, is it?

His sword name Ristcoia means "Cutter of Life"

Random facts about his creation:
a) While we on the topic of names. At first his name was Faenor which means "Spirit of Fire" because I really wanted to stick to the fire theme for him. But I didn't want him to be confused with the Tolkien character. So it was quickly changed.
b) His character design and his basic personality were all inspired by, get this, my old roommates tom cat Lotus. Probably why I ended up going with Lote after all. Lotus is a very oblivious and handsome cat who was always schooling the kittens. So now Lote is oblivious, handsome and schools the people outta line. XD
c) For the first while I was slow conceiving his character, he was a yellow eyed drow, because Lotus was an all black cat with yellow eye. Also on the crew was a Sylvan elf monk. But then I got to thinking about it and it dawned on me, drow make shitty hardcore fighters but kick ass monks. So Lote became a sylvan elf who dyes his hair black and the monk became a drow. That drow would later go on to become Antha.
d) I had a couple of idea's of where I wanted to go with Lote, I knew I wanted him to be an anti-magic warrior, but it was when I rolled that he knew an ancient language in the Hero Builders guide for fun he firmly became a suel arcanamach.
e) As if no one has noticed by now. Lote bares the incarnation of the violent angel Samael. Who is also the long time hero of River Jordan. As a result, Lote ended up taking on a lot of the same traits, both of them being based on the same figure in mythos. They both loyally wear blood red, are extremely hateful of evil beings, bare a lot of fire symbolism, have yellow catish eyes, are extremely lustful in all terms of the word, no piercings, tattoos and they're bodies just won't scar.

Band: Ahh yeah. He'd probably really like Korn. Disturbed. Godsmack... all those guys. I could see him in some modern day setting revving a motor bike and ripping down a highway with an iPod cranked and blaring Bat Out Of Hell in his ears, way to easily.
Movie: Movies? Movies are for lazy people who aren't putting 150% into everything they do. But really I bet he'd love Fight Club.

Backstory:

Lived a pretty good life as a kid. Till a landslide did a number on his home town and he got divided from his family. He got sent to a refuge camp for someone to come claim him, but no one ever did. So he grew up on the streets. That was where he met Malta and he took it upon himself to take care of him and between Malta's smarts and his skills they did okay for themselves. Enough that they got themselves the Enoch! Score. He had a brief affair with a sorceress who taught him magic, but that didn't go well cause she was a biotch.
